            Healthy Mouth = Healthy Body

Sorbitol is a sweet carbohydrate that’s lower in calories than any sugar, so it’s often used as an alternative sweetener. sugar alcohols are found in nature. Sorbitol is classified as a sugar alcohol (sometimes called polyols), even though it’s not technically a sugar and definitely not an alcoholic. As consumers became more aware of the amount of sugars in their food, manufacturers responded by substituting something like sorbitol. In order to make products like mints, gums, and kinds of toothpaste more tooth-friendly, traditional sugar has been heavily replaced by sugar alcohols. This transformed sweet treats into diabetic-friendly products as sugar alcohols don’t induce a rise in blood glucose levels. Most people can only tolerate up to 50 grams of sorbitol a day and Luckily, most foods only contain about 10 grams of sorbitol per serving. Sugar alcohols are rock stars compared to sugar! They don’t cause cavities and contribute a lower number of calories. All this while giving a product a clean, sweet taste.

Glycerin is a natural ingredient derived from vegetable oils and a byproduct of soap production, glycerin is added to toothpaste to create a pleasant texture and add that slippery mouthfeel. Glycerin is a natural ingredient found in most oral care products to better preserve and sweeten them. A natural agent, glycerin in toothpaste also helps retain the moisture of the paste so it doesn't dry out in the tube. Glycerin is considered safe by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Although glycerin is considered safe and effective for most people, it’s important to keep in mind that everyone’s body is different. It’s also said to be Nontoxic, Easy to digest (when taken internally), Pleasant tasting, Odor-free.
Coco glucoside is a cloudy liquid derived from coconut. Coco glucoside is a type of alkyl glucoside formed by mixing alcohols and sugar or glucose. Coco glucoside is a surfactant, meaning it breaks surface tension in liquids, allowing things to become clean. Use it anywhere you want all-natural cleansing foam and it's completely biodegradable. Coco-Glucoside has a high pH value and for this reason, the product contains no preservatives - thus the suffix UP = unpreserved.

Hydrated silica comes from a hydrated form of silicon. Hydrated Silica is used to remove debris and stains, this common abrasive is a component of sand. It's an abrasive, absorbent, and bulking agent in personal care product formulas and is perfectly safe to use in toothpaste. toothpaste with abrasive ingredients, such as hydrated silica, scrub the stains from the surface of your teeth. your enamel becomes worn down especially if you brush very hard and do not brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Hydrated silica is an ingredient that has been in use for a long time and which the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lists as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS). According to the FDA's Select Committee on GRAS Substances, silicates are biologically inert, which means they don't create a reaction in the body. There is no evidence suggesting that they could pose a hazard.

Precipitated silica, a form of synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, is derived from quartz sand, a crystalline form of silicon dioxide. Precipitated Silica is used as a thickening agent in toothpaste. It has excellent compatibility with active ingredients. And good to improve cleaning and protecting our teeth. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lists as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS).

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose in the toothpaste industry, the most important gum base in toothpaste, it mainly plays a role in shape forming and pasting which comes from the cell walls of plants such as wood pulp and cottonseed. It's an anionic polymer with a clarified solution dissolved in cold or hot water. It functions as a thickening rheology modifier, moisture retention agent, texture/bodybuilding agent, suspension agent, binding agent to keep sugar from crystallizing, bind water, and more in personal products and toothpaste. With good compatibility, it enables toothpaste to remain stable and without water diversion, the paste has a good water-retaining property. Moreover, the paste is fine, smooth and clean, and has a good forming capability, acid resistance, better rheological properties and thixotropy so the toothpaste can be easily extruded and show a better appearance, and impart a smooth and comfortable tooth feel and making it that much more appealing to consumers. As per USFDA, This substance is generally recognized as safe when used following a good manufacturing practice.

Propanediol is used as a solvent to absorb extra water or maintain moisture in toothpaste. Propanediol is a colourless liquid glycol derived from corn that can be used as a renewably sourced alternative to petroleum-derived glycols. Because it is a highly pure, food-grade material Darjuv9 have also used it, along with glycerin, in Natureroot Aloe TOOTHPASTE to help provide consistency and stability. Due to this, the other ingredients in Natureroot Aloe TOOTHPASTE can be properly applied in the manner consumers expect. Curcumin Liquid Color is derived from a natural source (Turmeric Rhizome) unlike its counterparts synthetic colours. Xylitol is a lower-calorie sugar substitute with a low glycemic index. Some research suggests that it may also improve dental health and possess antioxidant properties. Its sugar alcohol, which is a type of carbohydrate and does not actually contain alcohol. Xylitol occurs naturally in small amounts in fibrous fruits and vegetables, trees, corncobs, and even the human body. It is a popular ingredient in a variety of products, including sugar-free gum and toothpaste. Xylitol has a low glycemic index (GI). This means that consuming it does not cause spikes in blood glucose or insulin levels in the body. For this reason, xylitol is a good sugar substitute for people with diabetes. Xylitol is an ingredient in many dental hygiene products, including toothpaste and mouthwash. This is because xylitol is non-fermentable, which means that the bacteria in the mouth cannot convert it into the harmful acid that causes tooth decay. xylitol reduces the amount of the oral bacterium Streptococcus Mutans bacteria in the mouth, which reduces the amount of plaque and may help prevent tooth decay. xylitol increased the production of immune system proteins and inhibited the growth of the bacteria.

Aqua is used in the formulation of virtually every type of cosmetic and personal care product. Water used for this purpose is also referred to as distilled water, purified water and aqua as an inactive ingredient found in toothpaste (which can account for nearly 40% of what’s in the tube) and contents to keep the paste from drying out. Aqua is primarily used as a solvent in toothpaste in which it dissolves many of the ingredients. Water also forms emulsions in which the oil and water components of the product are combined to form paste, creams and lotions. These are sometimes referred to as oil-in-water emulsions or as water-in-oil depending on the oil phase and water phase ratios so that contribute to their particular purpose.

The components of the NATURE ROOT gano TOOTHPASTE consists of Sorbitol, Glycerin, Hydrated Silica, Precipitated Silica, Coco Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Caprylate (and) Glyceryl Undecylenate, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint), Syzygium Aromaticum ( Clove ) oil, Anethole, Cinnamomum Verum ( Cinnamon ) Oil, Cocos Nucifera ( Coconut ) Oil, Menthol, Mentha oil, Chamaemelum Nobile ( Chamomile), Ganoderma Lucidum ( Reishi), Xylitol, Aqua, which helps to contribute towards a healthier mouth and healthier gums and teeth.

As consumers became more aware of the amount of sugars in their food, manufacturers responded by substituting in something like sorbitol.

Hydrated silica comes from a hydrated form of silicon. Hydrated Silica is used to remove debris and stains, this common abrasive is a component of sand. It's an abrasive, an absorbent, and a bulking agent in personal care product formulas and is perfectly safe to use in toothpaste. toothpaste with abrasive ingredients, such as hydrated silica, scrub the stains from the surface of your teeth. your enamel becomes worn down especially if you brush very hard and do not brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush.

It replaced the fluoride added in the other kinds of commercial toothpaste. It is used the medicated toothpaste, like the toothpaste with enzyme, with stable and longer medical functions. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lists as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS).

Xanthan gum is a popular food additive that’s commonly added to foods as a ta great thickening, suspending and stabilizing agent for many products. It’s created when sugar is fermented by a type of bacteria called "Xanthomonas Campestris". When sugar is fermented, it creates a broth or goo-like substance, which is made solid by adding alcohol. It is then dried and turned into a powder. Moreover, it’s popular as a supplement and common ingredient in gluten-free products. FDA considers xanthan gum safe for consumption as a food additive. It may even have health benefits, like lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Xanthan gum can improve the texture, consistency, flavour, shelf life and appearance of many items.

Glyceryl Caprylate (and) Glyceryl Undecylenate, is an all-natural multi-functional ingredient system for preservative-free and self-preserving & protecting against bacteria and yeast. Glyceryl Caprylate is a monoester of glycerin and caprylic acid. It is produced through the esterification (the chemical reaction) of glycerin from vegetable oils and medium-chain fatty acids from sources such as coconut oil. Glyceryl Undecylenate is the ester of glycerin with undecylenic acid. It is derived from a combination of castor bean oil and rapeseed derived glycerine. Xylitol is a common ingredient in many products, from sugar-free chewing gum to toothpaste. Xylitol has a similar level of sweetness to sugar but with a fraction of the calories.
